Wildcat Park, which my family always called “the wooden park” was a wonderful park that is being rebuilt. Although we’re sad that it’s gone, we’re glad that there is an effort to rebuild it. There is a website dedicated to this effort called The New Wildcat Park. It has links to ways to contribute to the park’s fund as well as links to articles which mention the park. Plus, you can see pictures of the old park! Thanks for all the hard work that these folks are putting in.
For those of you who are new to Corvallis, we love our parks. And I think you can see this in how to community comes together in times like these.
